Providence Health System Vaccination Site

Apr 29, 2021 | Covid-19 Vaccinations, News & Updates

In January 2021,  Providence Health System began offering COVID-19 vaccinations in accordance with the District’s rules and regulations. Due to our outstanding service, we were asked to be one of only three initial mass vaccination sites in the District. Since March, Providence has hosted a weekly Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Fridays and Saturdays, where we have vaccinated 13,350 patients. This is in addition to our smaller vaccine clinic that operates Monday through Thursday. Thank you to our amazing 300+ clinical and lay volunteers that continue to vaccinate on average 1000 patients per mass clinic. Watch the video of our Providence Mass Vaccine Clinic in action –

Starting May 1, 2021, Providence will become a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine site Monday through Thursday from 9am-3pm and we will still offer 74-100 scheduled vaccine appointments each day during the same time frame. If you would prefer a pre- scheduled vaccine appointment, please visit . Click on “Washington DC” and then “Schedule Appointment.”

The COVID-19 vaccine is now available to all DC residents 18 and above, regardless of medical conditions. Patients will have to bring their picture ID and insurance card to the appointment.
