Good Afternoon,

At Pepco, we are committed to providing clean, safe, reliable and affordable energy service for our customers and communities. Each day, work is being performed to modernize the local energy grid to further enhance reliability for our customers and to strengthen the system against extreme weather.

As part of this effort, Pepco’s Capital Grid Project will strengthen aging transmission lines and substations, creating a stronger, more reliable energy grid. This work includes roadway construction, vehicle entry and exiting at worksites, and installation of large equipment.

During all phases of Capital Grid construction, our highest priority is your safety and the safety of your community, our employees, and the environment. To further ensure the safety of our customers and crews, please use caution when driving near the work zone. We understand this reliability enhancement work may impact you at times and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve your energy service. Please know that we will make every effort to minimize disruptions and impacts to your community and will restore all areas affected by construction.

Your patience is appreciated during the completion of this necessary work to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable energy. For more information about the project please visit pepco.com/CapitalGrid, Please feel free to emailann@robinsonpr.com or call/ text me at 202-680-8533.
