Energy efficiency in the built environment\, especially how it relates to historic buildings\, will also be addressed. For fifty years\, DCPL has been unwavering in its support for equitable and sustainable stewardship of the District of Columbia’s diverse heritage and culture. \nNow\, as collective concerns about climate change reach peak levels\, DCPL is launching its Stewardship for Climate Action program\, curated by consulting architect Carl Elefante\, FAIA\, FAPT\, LEED AP.  Through this six-part series of half-day programs\, DCPL and program participants will explore how preservation of DC’s existing building stock can help accomplish the goals set forth in the DC Climate Action Plan. \n  \n**American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Credits are available.
